I have to be ready for work at 11pm. It takes me about 50 minutes to get to work, and then another 20 to walk in and put on my work clothes, hard hat, steel toed boots and wander my way down to the inspection area. Thus I have to leave arround 9:45.

Well, half my day disappeared after we realized hubs never got his title paperwork for his current car and had to get it all together to trade it in. Guess we spent enough money at the dealer by now so he called and said: Oh, we want the trade in tonight and don't worry... you pay when you get the money on Thurs and bring in the title when it gets here.
Now how's that for customer service LOL!!! But he has his new car and is spoiled rotten... tomorrow I get to go get tags for it so he can give me back my car.

Time to get dressed, get some breakfast and start cleaning... only to then go hang out with my 100 best friends at Pass n'Tag office to get base tags for hubs car. UGH! WHY ME????

I finally got the courage up to call Fr Jimmy, but he was not in, so I am waiting for a return phone call.

I will be meeting him to get his wise counsel on my situation with my non-supportive spouse. I invited her to go to the GOC on Mother's Day since they were having a special luncheon for the moms, and she flat out said No Way.

I finally am taking some steps to convert, but he may advise me against it, we shall see.

OWBE- I'm glad your first step is to visit with Fr. Jimmy. It will be very important to take his advice! No one here would want to give you the wrong advice and you end up in marital problems over this.

Hang in there!!! There's a lot of people out there who converted without their spouse, I'm sure there is some way to work around things.

Today is a good day!!! I went to pass n tag for the base pass and there was NO ONE there waiting in line. I don't think that has ever happened to anyone before. Usually you're there with your 100 best friends waiting in line for forever (and then the compuers go down). AND I got to eat lunch with hubs and his buddies.

Time to run some errands and so...

I converted with my spouse being supportive and yet it took her an additional 3 years after I embraced Orthodox Christianity to convert herself. Ask St. Alexis Toth to pray for her heart to soften.
