  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I don't actually like the way apple trees look. We have two pear trees and they're not much to look at either. (previous owner planted them, they may be fruitless, because we've yet to see any fruit) But, if it were warmer here, I would grow a lemon tree or orange their flowers are sweet smelling and their leaves are a nice dark green. Avacado is also a really pretty tree, but it's not warm enough to grow them here. And peach is also a sweet smelling tree, even the dwarfs. Plums my favorite though. They're purple. Gorgeous! Love them. But, can't find a fruited (not fruitless) variety here. Had them growing up next door. And they're way better than the kind you buy at the store.

Is your favorite apple the Macintosh?

Not an apple tree.....

What do you like to eat as a quick snack?
Oops, sorry, I didn't see you sneak in there Rita. Um, a banana, or a peace of cheese. Depends on my mood and how hungry I am, I guess.

Do you buy health cereals, or 'regular' cereals?
I don't really eat cereal much myself. But, I prefer to buy healthy cereal. And my family prefers that I buy the overly sweet, candy colored kind. (they must get that from their fathers side of the family. Because my family always ate healthy, or not at all. :D )

Are you happy with your e-mail program?
