CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yeah, Bjork is quite strange.
I try to go to several concerts a year. I've been to three or four this year. It just depends on how much extra spending money I have and who is in town on how many I go to.

Sure. But I know what sort of disturbances I can watch/see and be ok and which ones would really disturb me. If it will upset me more than when I'm looking at it, I won't do it. But if it's something like watch a movie I know will make me cry (which is why I asked you the question in your thread) then I'm ok. Some things I can watch that are disturbing for more of an informational or educational point of view. Some things I just need to see myself before I believe what others say. But I don't rubberneck or watch snuff films or anything like that.

Doing much better. This strep is like the super duty variety. I can still feel it trying to make a come back between med doses.
In other news we should be getting our new roof on in about two weeks. Then I am going to push to replace all the remaining windows through the summer and end up residing the house in the fall. Wasn't planning on that last part, but it's going to make sense and be good value in the long run.

Yay to getting better. I know what you mean about super duty strep. I'm almost guaranteed to get strep every time it goes around and I don't think I've ever been so sick as when i get it. Boo.
