Backslidden as well. I think it would be a fun read as well, especially as that's what i grew up in and a good part of my family still is. All in fun, however!
Greedy, "big-box" retailer which sells items at prices below that of nearby local competitors, thereby driving them out of business; while offering its employees overpriced health insurance which covers next to nothing and requires its employees to work "off the clock". All of which are reasons why I shop at Costco, and actively crusaded to keep a WalMart from being built in my area.
Somewhat evangelical -- probably a holdover from my Southern Baptist roots. (Sometimes, in my Lutheran parish, I play the hymns in "Baptist style" (and the congregation loves it!)
It's really sad to me how the political right has so hijacked the word "evangelical" that so many people outside of the Church see being an evangelical as somehow related to being a conservative Republican.
