CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I don't believe so. We talk pretty fast and leave ending sounds off of some words though.

Well, I don't care for ground beef, so I don't eat hamburgers if I can help it. But on those occasions where it would be rude to refuse a burger I DOUSE it with ketchup!

Barefoot person here...sometimes a sock person, but even with socks my feet feel restrained, I guess they like breathing room.

Very important to have a child-like sense of awe and humor...take me for example, I laugh at EVERYTHING! I laugh at some of the stupidest things too, but in doing that, I seem to always be happy, and laughing, so it's all good! And baldness could only help in lightening your view in life, or atleast I would hope!
The world would be a better place if people would just laugh a little more and not be so tightly wound?

Perhaps, for the person on the receiving end of that person's emotions. But, not for that person.
I believe the world would be a better place if the human populas would stop likeing/accepting sameness, and accepted that we are all made in God's image...and God's image is very, very diverse. ...If we could accept that God loves all of us, and try to love like that too. ...If we could stop judging others and realize that we are all, like it or not, on this planet together and give each other a break, not just once in awhile, but all of the time....If we all treated each other like we generally all treat children, with kindness, patience and forgiveness....If we would look to ourselves to see why what other people do, say, or are like, bothers us, and fix that lack of godliness within ourselves...the world would be a better place.
A person feels what they feel. They do not decide they are going to feel angry, they feel angry. They do not decide to laugh, they are struck with the humor of something, and laughtter is the result. Our feelings, our emotions are God's gift to us. And I bleieve they were not put in the part of the brain of cognitive function, for a reason. All we can do, is be prayed up, so that when someone is feeling an emotion that isn't as encouraging as laughter is to us, that we love them anyway.

I think so.
I love to knit, sew, crochet etc - and though I use patterns, I'm happiest coming up with my own designs and little touches.
(My mom's on the couch behind me, so I asked what she thinks. She says I come up with some very creative reasons to stay online a little bit longer....)
