I was wondering if anyone had any advice for a video game addiction? I've been gaming my whole life, on everything from Ataris to Wiis to the good ol' PC, and recently I've began to think about breaking the habit.
But this isn't exactly about gaming, but online gaming.
I quit online gaming about a year ago. I recently realized why I enjoyed online gaming so much - it wasn't the gameplay or the theme - it's just the fact there's a sense of deep companionship and loyalty that is rare to find in the real world, and frankly it is enjoyable to see. I've begun to miss it greatly. I've recently broken alot of bad relationships and realized that I was left without a single friend, probably due to the fact that I was very introverted going through school and I invested heavily into the internet for my social needs. Since I already left the friends I've known online, I think I may be on the verge to a relapse.
