And lastly, that's a common misconception. It was translated from five languages. Man is imperfect. Man makes mistakes. Trying to defend every word is ignorance of the true God. God makes the rules. Human will which is what has determined the Bible, is imperfect.

God made the world. God made man. God guides man. Man is imperfect. God is not imperfect.

But to push this position, I have to ask what the foundation of your belief is in? Where did you get the information you have about what you believe, and how do you know it's in any way reliable?

That is because that was God's marriage...Adam and Eve. I told you, I don't argue "God's original intent", but that lots of changes happened when sin came into the world such as sin defect, not just sin temptation. I think we forget that as Christians. Show me where it talks about healings of all retarded children, or examples of some hermaphrodites? God didn't "intend" but nonetheless, it still happened.

Hey david_x, sometimes you have to give analogies. If davedjy thinks it's okay for him to have sex with a man even though it wasnt God's original intent, because sin entered the world - it only follows that whatever I desire, because sin entered the world, I should be able to do it. That includes having sex with a goat.

Did not Jesus mention to his fellow Jews, that you search the scriptures, because in them you think you have eternal life. I am not saying tthe scripture is not a valid book, but truth is found in christ. The Holy spirit is the teacher of all truth. Just a thought

He said that because Christ Himself is written and pointed to throughout scripture as a whole, but the Pharisees and those who taught the Law looked to the Law to justify them even though the Law itself is what convicted them of guilt.
