CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Boy do I have a big story about crushes. Some of you would know my story already (well at least Princess Pea does), so I won't say it again.
The girl in question in which I had strong feelings for was one of the most uniquely beautiful person I've seen in my life. She was the 'marriage' of innocence and purity (I'll chuck in intelligence in there as well) - a purity that must be defended.
Such incredible beauty begotten by the marriage of purity and innocence, walking in a world filled with sick lust, arrogance and pornography. I would really hate to see such beauty get destroyed by lust.
However I did take the courage to talk to her last year and then when Valentines day came.....
I choose not to see her again. After what happened last year I sort of became distrusting towards my heart and as a result distrusting towards God

It's been a good 3 years since I've had one, though - maybe because since then I had the longest relationship of my life and then lost it. It took a while to recover to the point where I could even think about anyone else. I hope I can avoid crushes in the future. They're seriously annoying.

I'm actually getting over a crush. I actually thought he was the one God had for me and so did my family. I prayed to God that if he wasn't the one that he would make it very clear. We became closer and now he's one of my bestfriends now. But for some reason I like him less in that way, but see him more as a really good friend. Its like God took away my feelings for him, so I wouldn't be hurt in the long run.
