walking through walls

Hi
I had a dream that i was sitting down and then this man who i was listening to preach walked up to me and didnt touch me but just put his hand above me head and said "God has annointed you"... then i felt a huge rush through my body. He then said who hear wants to to walk through the walls? I jumped up and said that i did... then i tried to walk through the walls and i was able to.... some times when i was walking through these walls i couldnt do it and i found out a key that would allow me to do it... and that was picturing my self walking through them, when i did this it was so easy to walk through the walls and to put my hands through solid objects. When i woke up i was sure i could walk through walls and do anything, nothing behond bounds.

I think i already know what God was saying to me through this, any takers on what this all may mean?

Christ told His deciples that if their Faith was such they could quite literally move mountians. it seems your dream is just a confermation of those teachings.

In Lucid Dreams ANYTHING is possible. I have been killed in my dreams and at the exact moment I was killed, I became "Lucid" and realized it wasn't real, so then realizing it wasn't real and that I was asleep I knew there was no way I could be dead, so I came back to life in the dream. You don't even need a body in a dream if you are lucid because it is all being created by your sub-conscious.

And Yes, Jesus said that if you have faith and no doubt in your heart, anything is possible. Personally, I believe we are dreaming right now and the reason why we can't "connect" to the mind of god and realize it, is because Satan has the wool pulled over our eyes. Thus keeping us trapped in the "illusion" that we are our body and when it dies we die with it. This is the main area that buddhist's focus on. So when you hear them say the world is "maya" or illusion, they are referring to the dreamlike nature of reality.

It would appear that more and more people are having lucid dreams. In the bible it says that in the end days people will have dreams and visions. I think that the reason this is happening, is to awaken us to Christ and the true nature of reality.

Very interesting... i have been shot in dreams but i never die, no matter what happens. I too think that we are missing what truely is reality...

I agree with you in a sense, i believe that everything is perception... we ARE connected with God the mind of God already, we ARE actually one with Him, and ARE actually seated IN Him on the throne in heaven (thats what the Bible says) and its upto us and what we percieve (in our minds) as to whether or not we believe that and live it to the fullness that it is. We are primerally spirit.... not flesh... we are born again of the Spirit, and we are lead by the Spirit... thats why renewal of the mind is so important ... because thats where we perceive.

It matters not, for it is all a metaphor. Is Christ the Son of God, and did he defeat death and Satan? Why yes, but when you are filled with the Holy Spirit and see beyond that limited perception of worldly understanding and it comes full circle it will take your breath away. I mean the true nature of it, the mentality of the Son of God! The mind of Christ. There is a verse in the bible about seeing the mind of Christ but I can't remember.

See the world and the present kingdom of man is going to come against the "Son of Man", the mentality and perception of Christ, his way of thinking that he is trying to give to us all. I think because they will fear it, and for too long we have seen reality as "Mine, yours, me, you, there, here, past, future" and they will not except it. How could you not except life in it's fullest capacity as we the children of god were meant to experiance? It's saddening....I try to put my thoughts in a nutshell but I feel I have only complicated the issue?

Im not sure exactly how you see it but i think that the 'world' or 'present kingdom of man' is our not so much the litural 'world' but our old way of thinking... unrenewed minds hold people back from knowing (by their renewed mind) the fullness of Him and therefore the fullness in them. Sadly many christians dont know Him IN them... our minds are actually made new (or renewed to His mind) the moment we accept Him... but the Bible says to renew our minds daily by washing it with the Word... so it sort of awakens us to what He did ... gave us His mind... His fullness in us, His life in us, His hope and joy and love spilling into and from us to others...

It can be frusterating and sad that even His kids dont get it sometimes (us included)... there is so much to Him, yet He is so simply perfect. I rest in the fact that He always was, is and will be in total control. His Spirit is the one who awakens us, who stirs our hearts to Him. His is love...

Usually when I get an inspirational boost like this, it's not just success ahead, but a need to treasure the message in my heart to get
me through a difficult time.

Keep reminding yourself of the dream, and get the message anchored in your heart so you will know for sure that the walls are not as insurpassable as they will appear.

Train yourself... love conquering fear.

One thing I noticed is that you are annointed in your dream. Have you considered that you may possibly encounter unusual experiences when the Spirit asks you too?

There are those who tell about traveling through walls to pray for someone. Others that have traveled endless miles to preach or teach while still remaining physically in the same place. I believe that has happened & perhaps in the last of the last days there will be many more who experience this.
After all if the devil can assist unbelievers to do this how much more can the Lord do.

It seems that God usually puts a passion on our hearts before we're presented with the opening, so I suspect you're already starting
to head in the direction that will take you to these amazing opportunities.

Even if nothing obvious happens for a long time, it's still wonderful to get these insights -- for God to visit and share His ways with us!

These are somethings that have come to mind after reading your posts.

I know that God has been drawing me to dwell more with the Holy Spirit... to realise more and more that He is indeed in me and that every second of every day the Holy Spirit is in me. I have been challenged to spend more time talking with Him and listening for, and following the inclings of the Holy Spirit.

Years and years back before i knew much at all about the Holy Spirit i has a few dreams about me praying for people to be delivered from different bondages. Then i had another few of the same thing a couple of years back... and later that week 2 people were in need of that prayer that i had dreamed about... i prayed for them and they have since been set free of bondages that held them.

There was also another dream that i think ties in with this one (the walls one) i dont know how to explain it except to say that it was as though i was in another realm. I could see so so clearly... i dont even know how to explain it... i remember in my dream saying "this is so amazing and sereal" (spelling??)... i feel like He is wanting me to head more and more into that realm and some of these dreams show that.

I have had a dream when our Pastor was away on a missions trip that he sent me a text (on the mobile phone) to ask me to pray for him (he didnt really, only in my dream)... so i did pray and i asked him about it when he returned and it turns out that it was a really trying trip for him (alot of stuff happened)... so being in one place and still being able to affect change in another place is so true.

Oh! The text messaging one is great! I feel that sense often when God prompts me to pray -- I suspect that the Holy Spirit is combining their prayers for help, with the "two or more" concept, and running to get more people to pray.

Did you ever hear the story about the twelve members back home praying for a missionary -- some locals had ran to his house to burn it down, and were confronted with twelve giant angels! I heard this about 12 years ago, so it mite be hard to dig up.

Joining with others around the globe is exciting, but I suspect that for some people, it's crucial -- we are surrounded by believers here, but there are people all over who need the prayer of others.

When you're wondering about when you will step out and pass through these walls, think about the word faith.

Faith can mean so many things. But when Jesus asked his disciples to step out and just do things, he acted like a boss who stretches us beyond what we thought we could do, and just said "do it." He trusted the people who had only known him a few years, to carry the power of God within them, heal and set free, and represent the Living God.

Actually I remember one other story someone told me in the Prophetic forum awhile back.

Something about this women having a dream about being on a passenger jet flying somewhere. & the passengers surrounding her were of the Asian persuasion.
Then the plane jolted & was in serious peril. At that moment the women started yelling out to the other passengers how to be saved. & I think many accepted. I believe she may have had the dream more then once.

She did later find out there was an Asian plane that crashed. & calculating the time difference it appears this women had been on that flight that crashed.
Amazing isn't it....

The other story I referred to was one my pastor told.
He said there were two pastors that had traveled to teach & preach.
Well late at nite 1 of them felt led to pray. Then he realised he had walked through the wall from the hotel room into his friend's.
He saw his friend appeared to be sick so he prayed for him. Then when he finished he walked back to his hotel room & went to bed.
The next morning his friend told him that he had been very ill. He didn't know if he would be able to get up & go to the meetings....Turned out not to be a problem

There was a very controversial one last year on news and current events, I think. A pastor had claimed to be in two places at one time, and a congregation had video of him preaching at their church. I don't know how that one resolved.... I sure hoped it wasn't a gimmick.

Scripturally, walking through walls -- Ezekiel, Enoch, Jesus, John, Paul... also think of the Mount of Transfiguration (deceased brought back to earth) and the fiery furnace (walking through wall-o-fire?).

But intercession, that's a powerful way of getting things done.
