im sure christianity has helped many people who think they made mistakes or who felt bad or thought they were bad make good life choices by no longer worrying about their past and looking forward to a great afterlife. if it helps you than that is fantastic! but to me, all i see is that you "think" or that you "know" or that you 'beleive" that god helped you. i dont care what word you use.
just becase people beleive or know sometihng doesnt make it true. even scientists know that there is no real "truth"... people used to think te moon was made out of cheese
Scientist state that there is no real truth now because,
its natural that nobody would believe in anything they can't see. And even if the truth is something that is to be found in one's heart, man can't transfer the way they can dicpher things with their hearts to other men for them to understand. as much as we would like that to happen out of our own sheer will power...
So scientist say this because
its easy to say that theres no real truth. then go living their whole lives in search for something of that of true acceptance and joy. Why?
Because scientist are emotional beings with needs too.
People say that God has helped and continue to do so bceause they know it in their very own hearts that someting that was so anxiety-gouging to them before has now been transformed and renewed, restored, and replenished. what is that thing?
its life.
God isn't a scientific fact. He's already a complete knowing. Like how we know we're breating and living today. But so many times we overlook something as simple as that. God can't be found in intellect. Why? because the only intellect thats exsisting now is that of oberservation made by man. God isn't man's geenie, nor does he want to live under man's rule. Take a good look around... the world is crumbling as we speak. No way in the world would I live my day to day life on facts because undenyingly we're human begins ...and its only naturally as well that we'd long for something to be filled in the 'emotional' void that every being possesses. Even you.
'There is no truth' in this world because the people who state this have never chose
faith before.
What is Faith? and faith from God?
Strength to do something that nobody else is able to do.
and who ever said that being a christian is easy?
No, i can honestly tell you its not.. And even though I come close to shutting down sometimes I know that only Jesus can fill my life with a real contentment and peace that nobody else can bring.. wether its assurance, confirmation, or comfort in my roughest days. How does he show me these things? well.. alot of times coinsidences or randomly kind things happen to me dispite of how crappy life's been. Wondering why in the world people in my life can be so generous inspite of what their facing as well?
I definately know that its love from God.
but you know..I'm just telling you my personal experiences.
its really up to you. so suit yourself... with your facts and ideologies. and such..to..help you get through..
and..i'll stick with the God i believe to be is the creator of the universe.. also, the only person in the world who can understand me better than anyone else.
