My ex left me and I guess that will be my greatest fear again if ever I have someone. Being left out in the cold is something I don't want people to experience.
I pray for strength.

I fear car wrecks, spiders, and public speaking. I suppose I face those fears because I drive, kill spiders (although I squeal when doing so), and get up and talk anyway.

hmmm... needles. Thats about it. I face that fear because... i give blood. And not just to vampires either...

I'm scared of driving in narrow construction lanes next to a big rig. I'm not claustrophobic but driving next to rigs in a narrow lane freaks me out. I do it all the time but it doesn't mean I like it.

Taxidermy!

Mostly stuffed deer heads, or anything in the deer family...elk, antelope, etc. Just the dead mounted heads though, not really the animals. Can't really explain it.

God wants to get me over it though, as He blessed me with a fantastic job in as a museum cataloguer...the catch is that I'm going to have to walk down a hallway lined on either side with deer heads, every day. No way around it. Definitely not looking forward to that part of the job, but as all my psychology training has taught me, exposure leads to extinction!

Stuffed dead creature-beast heads creep me out a little bit as well. My uncle used to have them ALL over his house until he got married and his wife made him put all the heads in his designated "man room".

You wouldn't do well in my house then, there are a couple of deer heads and gun racks made from the feet.
My small group leader in high school had quite a few in their house, there were a couple of deer, a moose, and several geese.
You may not do well in a Cabelas either . . . I love that store.

I was nervous driving around them when I first started driving on the roads but then driving all the way to Canada through construction kinda cured that for me.

It takes quite a lot to scare me, I love driving and it doesn't matter what the weather is or anything like that. I'm more cautious around semis ever since I got hit by one about a year and a half ago, I'm not scared of them I just watch them a little more closely.

One thing I guess I'm scared of is speaking in public, I can do it but I absolutely hate it. I used to sing for the worship team at my church and I was in drama so I was up front a lot but I can't really do speeches. Bugs are fine, my roommate has called me into the bathroom to kill a spider in the shower and then into her room because of a "giant" cricket that was in her closet.

i'm scared of cockroaches and needles. I stomp the roaches and if I have to get a shot I sing quietly to myself and don't look.

Intangibily i'm afraid of not mattering to anyone and being alone b/c people think i'm gross. I'm not quite sure how to face this fear. I try to matter to people and I try not to be gross.

I dunno, but so far it seem like people that know me don't find me loverly but gross cause they don't wanna be around me.
