That looks like someone we've seen before. Not Mr. Sulu, though. One of the Others. In fact, if I look at it long enough, it sorta looks like Benry. The mouth is wrong though.

Well...to go by the blast door map (and various hints and bits floating about the net) there are one or two major DHARMA stations we have not seen yet.

That this guy is being monitored puts him in a DHARMA station. Now...the possibilities are:

1) The Arrow - it looked like even the `Others' had forgotten about this one. Maybe `Patchy' took up residence? And the glass eye was found there.

2) The Staff (medical hatch). We never did see all of this one. It is possibly that `Patchy' might be some sort of site caretaker there - but if so, he was doing a really lousy job.

3) Swan Station...Er...its *gone*.

4) Hydra Station ... if this was the case, wouldn't we have seen him by now?

5) Pearl Station ... Nope, because I think this is where `Patchy' was being watched *from*. He might know about the Pearl, and been there before.

6) Flame (power generating station?) ... this is possible. Does this make `Patchy' the station engineer?

Also...is `Patchy' a regular member of the `others'? Or is he a isolated DHARMA employee like Kelvin? Or is he simply a castaway like Danielle?

I put this in the `Episode 3:5' thread, but it seems more relevant here.

As to `Patchy'...well, we saw a tiny slice of whatever hatch he's in. It had the old reel to reel computer equipment, which rules out the `Arrow'. I doubt its the `Hydra' station where Jack and company are being held. It *could* be the medical hatch, I suppose, but that don't seem right. That leaves either the `Flame' (marked on the blast door map but not yet seen), someplace in `otherville' proper, or some unknown hatch. I do find it interesting that he figured out he was being watched almost immediately, which means that camera in the Pearl must be playing on a screen in *his* hatch. So...maybe some sort of *security* station? If so, this might mean he has a degree of control over the smoke monster, which is described as a `security system'. It also means he is likely armed to the teeth, and possibly has armed friends as well. And finally, it might mean that he is not so much *part* of the others, but rather a DHARMA independant, like Kelvin was. If this is so, then `Benry' and crew might not know he exists.

Another reason he could know that he was being watched is that a little red light on the camera came on after years of being off...
