woo hoo - another ISTJ! Apparently ISTJ is the personality trait given to the organisation of Telstra - well at least a few years ago it was. So if ever we are in need of a new job.
... Had a run in with a bishop lately have we?
Thou knowest not the most holy and venerable dalliance monikered Counterstrike? *Gasp!*What is Counterstrike?
I won a game of Settlers of Catan last night - that was a nice acheivement!
No I haven't...but I'll look into it.Have you tried Enemy Territory? It is supposed to be betetr than Counter Strike.
Maybe I'm having a mid-life crisis or something, because I really enjoy playing this kind of stuff. I suppose it's cheaper than a Harley or Lambourgini.
They'd assume that a priest who drove an expensive sports or luxury car had become pentecostal or charismatic or something.Yes. I imagine your bishops would raise their eyebrows if they heard one of their priests was driving a lambourgini.
Maybe purple shirts cost a lot of money. I'm pretty sure they have to order them from the UK, and that shop is quite expensive. Plus think of the seperate washes they would have to do with purple until the colour didn't run. They'd assume that a priest who drove an expensive sports or luxury car had become pentecostal or charismatic or something.
Hmm....my bishops (ordinary and arch) both drive cheaper cars than me...hmmm.
Maybe they ought to just wear normal shirts?Maybe purple shirts cost a lot of money. I'm pretty sure they have to order them from the UK, and that shop is quite expensive. Plus think of the seperate washes they would have to do with purple until the colour didn't run.
I like your dh's approach. I avoid dog collars like the plague but wear it when I absolutely have to. However, I also hate shirt and tie! Well, we do what we have to, eh?My dh just wears shirt and tie, unless instructed otherwise. I think he may wear a collar to a funeral from time to time if he thinks it will cause offense not to. A funeral is just not the time to make a point.
I'm going to have to remember that story - wish I'd seen it.
