CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Thanks, dear Dawn. I doubt that I got enough sleep last night, but I'll live. I could not fall asleep right away when I finally got to bed either. I got an email yesterday evening from a new friend, whom I met in Scotland when we were there, and reading her emails to me always gives me goose bumps all over, as I sense the Holy Spirit's presence in her writing. Yesterday she told me about a Christian dream interpretation course she had been to in London etc. How exciting is that! No wonder I was so awake.
I slept in till 9:30 this morning. So I am doing quite all right. I have had a couple of cups of coffee and some open sandwiches with cured ham. The schools have their Fall break this week, so both my hubby and my daughter are home this week, and nobody needs to get up early. I am out of work for the time being, and there are nights I like to stay up for a while, either to do some writing or something else, or just be on the computer for a while. I hope to get work again within a few months though. Be greatly blessed, sis!

OH MY!!!!!!!!! THAT was funny! So far the day is gorgeous...66 sunny....the turkey...OH man it smells so good..can't wait...can't wait to start the other stuff as well!! OH I LOVE turkey day!
