  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

very important! (please read!)

Hi angelsword!

I don't really think we should fear Satan and his accomplices if we obey and understand God's Word.

Sometimes I think that my worst enimy is...myself! and Christ is there to cure me and to protect me from my own faults. That's the meaning of accepting Christ as our Saviour...isn't it?

Yeah, accepting Christ is the greatest challenge in man's life. It means to look at yourself and say: "what a terrible thing!!! Jesus, I need 2b transformed!"

But it's necessary to overcome an awful feeling called pride...through which Satan acts.

Satan was not meant to be ignored. We are our worst ememy when we do wrong, that is inside influences (caused by sin fostered by Satan), but Satan is our worst ememy when he tries to kill, steal and destroy through others as well; that is outside influence. Read my blog continuation I posted today to get a better understanding.

I understand. But firstly we must fight against the inside influence...and let OUR GOD give us strenght and wisdom.

substances in my medication?

I know this doesn't have anything to do with it, but I like how you changed the look of your character:thumbsup: !

Oh! Yes! A few people who have received intravenous medication in hospital have complained about horrorible hallucinations! To me it just doesn't sell! I mean, why should it happen?

Because some people have adverse reactions to certain medications...?

Why do you assume this means there is some great conspiracy of evil going around putting substances into medications? What a huge leap.

I agree to this in that, when we allow sin(the inside influences) to have control over our lives, we have a door open that allows these people to work against us! Not only that, we must stay vigilant, pray for one another! Sometimes we are attacked and don't realize it.

Sometimes we suffer from hidden sins and only when we cry out to God because things are going wrong does God in his mercy reveal to us or wrong. Then we can correct it and use this as a sheild against the wiles of the Devil and the people who work for him.

Being a Christian for years gives you more experience with God, but it doesn't mean you will be sin free and perfect. One can, however, work toward perfection, because we have Jesus as our guide!:amen: We must constantly seek the righteousness of God! It is so rewarding.

I feel bad when I sin and that
Though as Christians we can ask
Jesus for forgiveness and that
We can start anew when we
Are Christians, He gives us a fresh
New start!

Thank you for that beautiful message Legend! We must learn that as Christians, we make mistakes, but God forgives! We may not always think alike, or share the same views, but once we unite with the supreme goal being Jesus:holy: , we know that His Love and will conquers all! I see it every day!

You keep saying that. Are you just trying to get people to read your blog?
 I can always count on you to keep track of things! While your here...you might want to read my post entitled'Tribulation: who is to fear?' Read number 5! I think you will get a kick out of it. By the way, I can't see your eyes! Man you sound up-tight! but I got good news! I am going to pray for you right now!

Dear God, I ask that you bless Smootchface and keep her under your protective wings! I know the Christian walk gets hard, but for some of us it is a little harder to bear. Please help her and change her feelings to those of warmth and love for all at all times, and let her know in her heart that I love her too! :amen:

The Christian walk isn't a life full of roses
But God is with us to face those times that
Are thick and thin! If we have in through Christ
In our hearts and lives.
