CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm doing the low carb thing ... no french toast today. But that's one of my favorite breakfasts. I would, sometimes, make that for dinner.

Yeah, me too, got nobody really to cook for and my roommate is so unappreciative of what I do around here I stopped making big meals

It just seems like the older you get, the harder it is to shed those pounds! I have to tell ya tho, I lost over 20 pds last year riding my bike to workI never had that before ...

Sweet! I can't ride my bike to work. The neighborhood isn't the safest. It's barely safe in the daylight. There was a drive by shooting a couple of days ago. I leave there at 9PM. I'm getting too old to fend off bullets.It just seems like the older you get, the harder it is to shed those pounds! I have to tell ya tho, I lost over 20 pds last year riding my bike to work
