CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

never read that book but saw the movie. the movie was funny but people tell me that the book was way better, is that true if so i think I need to read the book.

yeah I thought that he draged the story on and on and on in the later books. Its a great story though he just needs to do something different in one of the books. It has its ups and downs but its a good series, just don't try to read all of them at once (there are 12 of them now.)

Why did you all stop posting?????? Lets talk, discuss why this book is good and that book is bad. Let's argue about why this book is awesome while that book is the worst book ever writen. I don't care why you post just don't let it die. PLEASE DON'T LET MY FIRST THREAD DIE!

Me too! Has anyone listened to the radio series? I think series' 3/4 and 5 are better as a radio show than to read.

Well, I'd go crazy if you said any of my favorite books were bad, so I guess I understand. But it doesn't change the fact that I cannot stand those books after the first one.
