CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have facebook but i also have Myspace and Xanga - i like XANGA so much better. its easier to edit than Myspace and not as boring as facebook.

i have it. its nice b/c i can catch up with people i havent talked to in a while. i like it just as much as myspace and xanga though. i dont really have a preference between them.

I like facebook because of the privacy. Only people at your school can see your profile, or you can even make it so that only your friends can see it. I also like the photo albums.

Facebook is a lot of fun. Good way to keep in touch with friends that you don't see often. Works pretty good for sharing pictures too.

I have facebook & myspace. Facebook is better for keeping in touch with old friends. Myspace is better for customization even though I don't really do much at all on my myspace compared to others.

I have a facebook, but nothing eventful ever seems to go on in facebook anymore. I dunno, I feel like facebook is just a fad. Lots of people are thrilled with the idea that they can keep up with high school friends, and have privacy. But its functionality isn't up to par with something like myspace or xanga.
You can't really get to know much about a person on facebook. Though it's cute and novel, it doesn't really have much use. I don't know the future, but people are always creating something new to go 'join'. How many people do you know that have a friendster or hi-5 accounts? Either facebook will stabilize with its userbase or everyone will go to something more functional. Especially now that high school kids are thrown in the mix.
