  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Week 4 The destruction continues

Trump is making a big deal of his changing the name of the Gulf of Mexico. Of course, Google is only labeling it the Gulf of Mexico to those inside the US or using USA IPs. Outside the US, it is still labeled the Gulf of Mexico and people snicker about Trump's name change.

DOGE is continuing to make a mess of things. They made a site that can be hacked and then posted some classified data on it.

Elon Musk’s overhaul of the federal government seems to have hit a snag: His Department of Government Efficiency posted classified information on its website.
Musk’s team posted information about the staff and size of a U.S. intelligence agency on their new website, HuffPost reports. DOGE has been criticized for the level of access into sensitive government departments, including the Treasury Department, but how they got the classified information isn’t clear.....
DOGE.gov was launched Wednesday claiming to give Americans the ability to “trace your tax dollars through the bureaucracy.” The feature allows users the ability to see data from all federal offices and agencies including head counts, budgets, and the average age of staff. But, the website was supposed to exclude data from U.S. intelligence agencies, according to the fine print at the bottom of its main page.

Then they (DOGE and the Trump administration) accidently fired the employees that oversee the nuclear arsenal of the US, which really threatened national security.

The National Nuclear Safety Administration was struggling Friday to rehire some of the nation’s top nuclear specialists after they were fired by Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency in an apparent massive mistake, according to reports that triggered security fears.

Sources told CNN that DOGE staffers apparently did not realize that the agency oversees America’s nuclear weapons stockpile when the employees were fired Thursday. The terminations were quickly rescinded Friday, CNN reported.

The workers were fired because “no one” had “taken any time to understand what we do and the importance of our work to the nation’s national security,” one source told CNN.
Rather than taking an intelligent and thoughtful and targeted approach to looking for fraud, MUSK via DOGE is going through departments like a bull in a china shop.

But there is a reason Musk is doing this.

Yep. This is all to benefit Musk financially. That brings up a question - what charities does he run or contribute to?

The image is so big, I am posting this and continuing in the next post.
