Understand The Message Of The Kingdom!

Jesus explained the parable of the sower this way, "Consider, then, the parable of the sower: When anyone hears the message of the kingdom but does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is the seed sown along the path. The seed sown on rocky ground is the one who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. But since he has no root, he remains for only a season. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, he quickly falls away. The seed sown among the thorns is the one who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. But the seed sown on good soil is the one who hears the word and understands it. He indeed bears fruit and produces a crop—a hundredfold, sixtyfold, or thirtyfold." Matthew 13:18-23

The kingdom of heaven is, and always has been the main focus of the one true King, Jesus the Christ. Anyone claiming to be in Christ must be born-again (transformed) by surrendering their life in this world to humbly and selflessly serve His kingdom by doing the will of the Heavenly Father. This is not a one-time "Okay I'll serve you," nor is it an insurance policy to keep one out of hell. It is gaining a lifetime personal relationship with Jesus Christ who will then send the Holy Spirit to live within us to guide our lives in this world. Regrettably, many who hear the good news concerning the kingdom (the gospel) never make this full-surrender required for spiritual rebirth to take place meaning they never gain a personal relationship with Christ. One reason, as Jesus explained above, is that the adversary will confuse or divert those who hear the gospel preventing the word to take root. Satan has many methods, to include an array of false gospels, that will confuse the listener and snatch away the truth. Regrettably, most people selfishly try to find an alternative way to heaven that will allow them to continue to live the life they have always lived. Woefully, this alternative and false gospel is offered in most of today's local churches through what they call a sinner's prayer. However, in the end, will leave far too many just as lost and hell bound as they were before the hearing of the true gospel.

Moreover, there are many who quickly become excited about the gospel and filled with joy about the possibility to belong to the kingdom of heaven and avoid hell. However, they end up becoming equally distracted and confused as those mentioned above. Therefore, they too will fall away from the truth to live their lives in this world as they always had before hearing the good news. As is with those above, these false converts will be just as lost and hell bound as they were before hearing the gospel. Furthermore, the third group Jesus mentioned, the ones who heard the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth has choked out the truth of the gospel, they too will turn from the truth and will be lost for eternity. Regrettably, because the teachings of Jesus are continuously perverted by the teaching in today's false church system, many will be wrongly misled from the truth. These institutions teach that if one "prays the pray" they are heaven bound regardless of how they live their lives; however, according to Jesus they in fact remain lost. The local church boasts that these so-called believers are, "just living a carnal life, but they are still saved because we heard them say the sinner's prayer." This is a sad truth that clearly reveals the cunning work of the adversary as he strives to keep souls from the truth.

Nevertheless, there are a few who both hear the good news about the kingdom of heaven, and truly make a full surrender of their lives to serve the kingdom forevermore. The Lord alone knows their hearts, and if they are true to Him, they will be born-again and receive the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. These are the ones Jesus spoke of when He said, "the seed sown on good soil is the one who hears the word and understands it. He indeed bears fruit and produces a crop—a hundredfold, sixtyfold, or thirtyfold." They are not counted among the numbers of the many who are no more than churchgoers settling for a false gospel that leads only to death. Instead, they are the one's counted among the few who will walk the narrow path as they follow Jesus to the narrow gate leading to eternal life. Do not be deceived, Satan is fooling many with his lies told through false gospels and confusing practices. The Lord wants for no soul to be lost, I pray you have heard, received, and are living out the good news of the kingdom of heaven!
