I suppose I should write down this dream I had last night (been having a bunch of them since seeing Heidi Baker, but I wake up knowing I had a drream but not remembering the details).
Anyway, I had this dream where I was out like downtown or something. I had to use the washroom , I was like in a hotel or government building. There was a restroom nearby but I didn't want to use that one because it was on the main floor and it was too busy. So I decided to use one on another floor. I saw there might be one on the 5th floor (which happened to be the top floor.
I got on the elevator and went alone in the elevator to the 5th floor. When the door opened (it was night out) I saw that suprise- it was the parking level, but it looks like a park. Since it was night it was very dark looking, pitch dark. I didn't want to go out there alone. So I said to myself forget this, I'll go somewhere else.
(I have not watched any scary movies in a loong time, so I have no idea where this would be coming from or what it means).
So I push the button to go down- nothing. I try pushing buttons to go to any floor, still it's not moving. The doors aren't even closing. I get kind of scared, since I see shadows in the distance, and I had no clue what kind of person it could be. I panic and decide to push the emergency buttons and the alarm button. Still nothing, no sounds, no nothing. I'm freaking out for real now. I decide there's no other way but to hurry and step out and see if there is another elevator next to this one, going down. I still see shadows out there, that could be a person, but I have no other choice.
Almost as soon as I quickly step out of the elevator a bunch of guys rush at me. I figure it's about 4 of them, but it's hard to tell since it's so dark and they're moving so fast. I hear a yelling and evil laughing. They try to grab me and pull me away. One guy manages to grab my arm and take off running with me. At first I'm even more scared but then something deep inside tells me he's ok, he's trying to help me. He is some kind of hispanic. So he is running off with me, but there is this other guy (like another hispanic guy) right behind us, running after us. He's right on our heels. As we're running I keep kicking him over & over but it does nothing to him, he just keeps after us the same. Finally we cross over into another area, and the other guy isn't following us anymore. Now we're in another park, it's still night but there is lighting and you can see there are normal people around There were families and people picnicing, people pushing kids in strollers, etc..
Then I noticed it was no longer that guy taking me out of the area, now it was some gal. She was tall and thin and wearing a nurses uniform. I had no clue who these people were but I was greatful to get out of there anyway. So theis gal lead me out of the park area to someplace indoors (maybe the fieldhouse or something). We sat down on a bench, talked a bit and then she got a call and said she had to go help someone else out, and she took off. I was left exhausted and wondering what this was all about and who those people were. Like were they angels? But then again there are no female angels.
So I wonder what this dream means. I hadn't been terrified like that, in a dream (or in real life) like that in ages. I was so terrifed because i couldn't see clearly into the darkness, because I felt trapped, because I felt someone was going to come after me (which they did) and because I didn't know what was going on.
I happned to have this dream after a bad week, so maybe God is trying to tell me something. Or the devil is trying to bug me even more.
