Who redeemed you? Who bought you with a price? Who gave you holy spirit?
Who gave you the spiritual ability to do the works of Jesus Christ? Who gave you eternal life? Who healed you? Who gave you exceeding precious promises? Who loved you unconditionally? Who forgives you every time you repent? Who holds no grudges against you, ever? Who has such compassion on you? Who gave you mercy and grace?
God did. God does. God will continue to do so.
Romans 12:1 (KJV) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
IN view of all God has done for you, make a decision. Make a decisive commitment to present your self, devote yourself: your character, your personality, your talents and abilities, your whole self, devote yourself as a living sacrifice. You sacrifice your self-will, selfishness, self-centeredness, you devote yourself and give yourself to godly things. Only YOU can do this. No one can do it for you. You must decide to commit yourself to God. This is a reasonable service. After all, God is the One who gave eternal life and joy and peace and all those things listed above and more! It
is a reasonable exchange.
It is not grievous or a hard thing to bear, to love someone back who loves you so
perfectly and completely. It is not a grievous thing to turn away from darkness and the wide path to destruction and decide to live on the narrow path in God's love and light and receive His promises instead. It is reasonable. It's a no brainer. Like the choice to choose this day who you will serve: life or death. Then God gives us the answer: choose LIFE! [Deut. 30:19]
But only YOU can decide to please God with your life.
