The God of all comfort...
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus the Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; 4 who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God
This world system taught us not be so vulnerable when we got hurt, so we looked for comfort in other places... because we still need to be comforted
Our Loving Father love us with a comforting, nurturing heart expressed usually by our mothers
When we reject comfort from the Father of Compassion, we will seek it elsewhere, in addictions, performance, in religious striving
God created us with the need to be comforted
My prayer : each of us will run to our Heavenly Father arms when we need to be truly comforted, instead of the world
Psalm 34:18 tells us... Yahweh is near to those broken hearted, and saves those who have a crushed spirit
