We are all in the wilderness bitten by spirit snakes-our only hope is to gaze at the one sinless lamb sacrificed on a tree who took upon himself all the venom of our sins and became the brazen serpent of old, in order for us to be healed

8 The Lord said to Moses, “Make a bronze snake, and put it on a pole. When anyone who is bitten looks at it, that person will live. [2 Kin. 18:4; John 3:14]

John 3:14
Just as Moses lifted up the snake [serpent] in the desert wilderness; Moses put a bronze snake statue on a pole, and those who looked at it were healed of snake bites; Num. 21:4–9, the Son of Man must also be lifted up [the cross and resurrection]
