The Prophecy Of Ezekiel. Returning To The Land.

Returning to the Land of Israel.

Ezekiel was the young faithful prophet to the exiles in Babylon. (approx 600 B.C.) With God`s word Ezekiel was to encourage the people that there would come a time of national restoration. After 70 years of being exiled in Babylon they would be able to return to the land of Israel.

Then God gives Ezekiel another prophecy concerning another exile. This occurred in 70 A.D. when the Romans burned Jerusalem and the Jews fled to all corners of the world. There they have been for nearly two thousand years. Ezekiel prophesied that God would again bring the people back to the land of Israel.

Today we are witnessing this last national restoration of the Jews. It started in the 1900`s till Israel became a nation again in their land in 1948. Yet there are still Jews scattered all over the world (symbolically their graves) and over time they have been going to Israel.

`Thus says the Lord God, "Behold, O my people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up from your graves, and bring you into the LAND OF ISRAEL." (Ez. 37: 12)

Recently when Russia invaded the Ukraine, the Jews started fleeing to Israel. God is bringing His people home. As Russia starts to consolidate in the Ukraine it will cast its eye south and eventually come down to the mountains of Israel to gain economic wealth. God`s word gives great detail of how that will happen and what He will do.

The Photo.

These are Jews coming to Israel. The young girl has the flag of the nation of Israel. And the father is bending down and kissing the ground. This is what God has said in His word and was first fulfilled when Jerusalem was restored to the Jews. The soldiers knelt down and kissed the ground fulfilling the prophecy of Psalm 102.

`You O LORD, shall endure forever, and the remembrance of your name to all generations. You will arise and have mercy on Zion; for the time to favour her, yes, the set (appointed) time, has come.

For your servants take pleasure in her stones, and show favour to her dust.` (Ps. 102: 12 - 14)
