There are two opposing powers at work as the world is made of both, existing because of each other, necessary to be working in tandem for creation to exist. Everything has an opposite. Information we were not to have, until the wrong tree was chosen and the knowledge gained. Two opposing wills as a result, forced to work unmasked in opposition to each other within mankind, while otherwise working in balance within the known universe.
People struggle, not only with each other as a result, but can be conflicted within themselves. But it doesn't stop there. There are also those of pure righteousness and those of pure evil. The irony is that righteousness cannot masquerade as evil, but evil can appear as righteousness, never flinching in order to keep up deceptive appearances within its flesh in order to attain its own harmful desires at the expense of some trusting individual, or perhaps on a global scale.
Everything in these unrepentant frauds will be a total lie, but will appear as complete truth; they creating a perfect ongoing façade, so convincing that as scripture says, even the elect may be fooled. This perfection, paradoxically, is what can give them away.
