Shopping With Paul

Poor Paul.
He drives a whopping two kilometres to the supermarket, fights to get the best carpark, then struggles to find his favourite sized trolley. Once inside he goes to the yoghurt section but wouldn't you know it! An old lady has beat him to the last of the specials! There's no justice in this world. None of his favourite raspberry and fig left!
He goes to the checkout but oh no! A line of 6 people and no other checkouts available! Why me! he cries inside. Where's his patience? Maybe he left it at home. He cant find it anyway! And the guy in front of him is taking an eternity! He's gossiping about his weekend to the cashier! Can you believe it! Why aren't there more decent people in the world like me? he cries.
Finally its his turn. The cashier can sense his grumpiness perhaps because she doesn't engage. What kind of customer service is this? Paul whimpers. What have I done to deserve such suffering Lord? It would test the patience of Job, he ponders. Which reminds him. He needs to read that Book again. He didn't quite get it the first time.
