Revelation 14

REVELATION
CHAPTER 14

The Lamb and the 144,000

Rev 14: 1
And I looked and lo
A Lamb stood on the mount Zion
And with Him an hundred forty and four thousand
Having his Father's name written in their foreheads

NOTE: See Chapter 7. This is the total of the twelve tribes of Israel. Some Denomination says that they are working to be on of these 144,000! Yet it is plainly shown that these are the tribes of Israel and does not deal with the Gentile wold. To take on this claim, they are take on what goes with Israel

Rev 14:2-5 And I heard a voice from heaven
A the voice of many waters
An as the voice of a great thunder

And I heard the voice of harpers
Harping with their harps

2 Sam_6:5 And David and all the house of Israel played before the LORD on all manner of instruments made of fir wood, even on harps, and on psalteries, and on timbrels, and on cornets, and on cymbals.

1Ki_10:12 And the king made of the almug trees pillars for the house of the LORD, and for the king's house, harps also and psalteries for singers: there came no such almug trees, nor were seen unto this day.

And they sung as it were a new song before the throne
And before the four beasts
And the elders

And no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand
Which were redeemed from the earth

NOTE: The word song here is praise, a new praising.

Rev 14:4 These are they which were not defiled with women
For they are virgins
These are they which follow the Lamb wheresoever He goes
These were redeemed from among men

NOTE: Virgins, that is not spiritually corrupted, but virgins spiritually; thereby pure.

Being the first fruits unto God and to the Lamb
And in their mouth was found no guile
For they are without fault before the throne of God

NOTE: These are virgins: Not female virgins who have not had intercourse with a man. These virgins are virgin from sinfulness, therefore, His saints who were redeemed from the earth. For what purpose would there be for a female virgin in the heavenly realm? It was already said that They were taken from the earth.

These were the first fruits. That is because the Gentiles had not at that time been given to know the Body of Christ which the apostle Paul was to teach Them about.

The Messages of the Three Angels

Rev 14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven
Having the everlasting gospel
To preach unto them that dwell on the earth

And to every nation
And kindred
And language
And people

NOTE: Here above is the ministry of Paul whom Jesus Christ sent to the Gentile world. It would appear that this angel, that is messenger, would be the apostle Paul.

2Co_12:2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knows; such an one caught up to the third heaven.

Rev 14:7 Saying with a loud voice
Fear God
And give glory to Him
For the hour of His judgment is come

And worship Him that made heaven
And earth
And the sea
And the fountains of waters

John 1:1-5 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

And the light shined in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Rev 14:8 And there followed another angel saying
Babylon is fallen
Is fallen

That great city
Because She made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of Her fornication

1Pe 5:13 The church that is at Babylon, elected together with you, salutes you; and so does Marcus my son.

Rev 14:9-11 And the third angel followed Them
Saying with a loud voice

If any man worship The Beast
And His image
And receive His mark in his forehead
Or in his hand

NOTE: Here is a verse that is grossly misused or understood. The Beast is asscoiated with Judeah and Israel, not with the Gentiles. As will be shown, the whole book of Revelation is for the Jews and not for today's churches.

The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God
Which is poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation
And he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone
In the presence of the holy angels
And in the presence of the Lamb

NOTE: It is the Lamb which is referred to here, not Jesus Christ or Christ Jesus. Therefore it is Israel who is being targeted here.

And the smoke of their torment ascends up eternally
And they have no rest day nor night
Who worship the beast and His image
And whosoever receives the mark of His name

NOTE: His Statue, a stamp or figure, of His surname. Whom ever adapts themselves to His authority. This could be a mark or some other form of identification. Today's teachings seem to be that this Man will be one yet to come that gives the mark to everyone mentioned in these scriptures. However, going back to verse 14:8 is the following pertaining to this beast mark.

The apostle Paul, the apostle appointed to the Gentiles by Jesus Christ, never preached this message to the Gentiles.

Rev 14:8 And there followed another angel

Saying
Babylon is fallen is fallen
That great city
Because She made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of Her fornication

NOTE: This verse above gives the answer to Who Babylon is. It is the spiritually corrupt Jerusalem.

1Pe 5:13 The church that is at Babylon, elected together with you, salutes you; and so does Marcus my son.

This is the church at Jerusalem. Jerusalem is spiritually corrupted Babylon. Again this writing points to the Jews at that time; as does the seven churches point to that time period. Today there is only One Church, The Body of Christ. Any church other than this is a false church.

Isa 13:1-22 The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see.

Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.

I have commanded My sanctified ones
I have also called My mighty ones for My anger
Even Them that rejoice in My highness

The noise of a multitude in the mountains
Like as of a great people
A tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together

The LORD of hosts musters the host of the battle
They come from a far country
From the end of heaven

Even the LORD,and the weapons of His indignation
To destroy the whole land

Howl you
For the day of the LORD is at hand
It shall come as a destruction from the Almighty

Therefore shall all hands be faint
And every man's heart shall melt
And they shall be afraid
Pangs and sorrows shall take hold of Them

They shall be in pain as a woman that travails
They shall be amazed one at another
Their faces shall be as flames

Behold
The day of the LORD comes
Cruel both with wrath and fierce anger
To lay the land desolate

NOTE: Notice the directive above: Lay the land desolate, not the world.

And He shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it
For the stars of heaven
And the constellations thereof
Shall not give their light

The sun shall be darkened in His going forth
And the moon shall not cause Her light to shine

And I will punish the world for their evil
And the wicked for their iniquity

And I will cause the arrogance of the proud to cease
And will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible

I will make a man more precious than fine gold
E
ven a man than the golden wedge of Ophir

Therefore I will shake the heavens
And the land (earth) shall remove out of Her place
In the wrath of the LORD of hosts
And in the day of His fierce anger

And it shall be as the chased roe
And as a sheep that no man takes up
They shall every man turn to His own people
And flee every one into his own land

Every one that is found shall be thrust through
And every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword

Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before Their eyes
Their houses shall be spoiled
And their wives ravished

Eph_6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Behold
I will stir up the Medes against them
Which shall not regard silver

And as for gold
They shall not delight in it

Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces
And they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb
Their eye shall not spare children

And Babylon
The glory of kingdoms
The beauty of the Chaldees' excellency
Shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah

It shall never be inhabited
Neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation
Neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there
Neither shall the shepherds make their fold there

But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there
And their houses shall be full of doleful creatures
And owls shall dwell there
And satyrs shall dance there

And the wild beasts of the islands shall cry in their desolate houses
And dragons in their pleasant palaces
And her time is near to come
And her days shall not be prolonged

NOTE:
From the above scriptures of the Old Testament is the fulfillment of the Old Jerusalem to be accomplished in Revelation. Babylon is the spiritually corrupted house of Israel; which we be replaced with the New Israel. This will be Satan's final end, and those who are His servants.

This will be a hard thing for many to digest, just as it was for John in the book of Revelation. But then, truth is often hard to accept.
May the Lord guide the serious students about His word to digest these things. If they be wrong,I am responsible to the Lord for it!
I do not take what I write lightly!

Rev 14:12-13 Here is the patience of the saints
Here are they that keep the commandments of God

And the faith of Jesus

NOTE: In verse 14:12 is an important things to notice. First it states that he

Isa 35:4-10 Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompense; he will come and save you. Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.

And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes. And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.

No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there: And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Luke_7:22 Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things you have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.

Rev 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them.

The Harvest of the Earth
Rev 14:14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud
And upon the cloud One sat like unto the Son of man
Having on His head a golden crown
And in his hand a sharp sickle

Act 1:1-2 The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:

Act_1:9-11 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. Which also said, You men of Galilee, why stand you gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven

Rev 14:15-16- And another angel came out of the temple
Crying with a loud voice to Him that sat on the cloud

Thrust in Your sickle and reap
For the time is come for You to reap
For the harvest of the earth is ripe

And He that sat on the cloud thrust in His sickle on the earth
And the earth was reaped.

Rev 14:17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven
He also having a sharp sickle

Rev 14:18 And another angel came out from the altar
Which had power over fire
And cried with a loud cry to Him that had the sharp sickle saying

Thrust in Your sharp sickle
And gather the clusters of the vine of the earth
For Her grapes are fully ripe

Deut_32:32 For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorrah: their grapes are grapes of gall, their clusters are bitter:

Isa 5:1 Now will I sing to My well beloved a song of My beloved touching His vineyard. My well beloved has a vineyard in a very fruitful hill:

Isa 5:2 And he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes.

Isa 5:3 And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem, and men of Judah, judge, I pray you, betwixt me and my vineyard.

Isa 5:4 What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it? wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought it forth wild grapes?

Isa 5:5 And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; and break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down:

Isa 5:6 And I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor digged; but there shall come up briers and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.

Isa 5:7 For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry.

Isa 5:3 And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem, and men of Judah, judge, I pray you, betwixt me and my vineyard. What could have been done more to My vineyard, that I have not done in it? Wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought it forth wild grapes?

And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; and break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down: And I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor dug; but there shall come up briers and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.

For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry.

Woe to the Wicked

Woe unto them that join house to house, that lay field to field, till there be no place, that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth! In mine ears said the LORD of hosts, Of a truth many houses shall be desolate, even great and fair, without inhabitant Yes, ten acres of vineyard shall yield one bath, and the seed of an homer shall yield an ephah.

Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them!

And the harp, and the viol, the tabret, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard not the work of the LORD, neither consider the operation of His hands.

Therefore My people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honorable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.
Therefore hell has enlarged Herself
And opened Her mouth without measure
And their glory
And their multitude
And their pomp
And He that rejoices
Shall descend into it

And the mean man shall be brought down
And the mighty man shall be humbled
And the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled

But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment
And God that is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness

Then shall the lambs feed after their manner
And the waste places of the fat ones shall strangers eat
Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity
And sin as it were with a cart rope

That say let Him make speed and hasten His work
That We may see it: and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come

That We may know it
Woe unto them that call evil good
And good evil

That put darkness for light
And light for darkness

That put bitter for sweet
And sweet for bitter

Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes
And prudent in their own sight!
Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine
And men of strength to mingle strong drink

Which justify the wicked for reward
And take away the righteousness of the righteous from Him

Therefore as the fire devoures the stubble
And the flame consumes the chaffS
So their root shall be as rottenness
And their blossom shall go up as dust

Because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts
And despised the word of the Holy One of Israel

Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against His people
And He has stretched forth His hand against Them
And has smitten Them
And the hills did tremble

And their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets
For all this His anger is not turned away
But his hand is stretched out still

Isa 5:26 And he will lift up an ensign to the nations from far
And will hiss unto them from the end of the earth
And behold they shall come with speed swiftly

None shall be weary nor stumble among Them
None shall slumber nor sleep
Neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed
Nor the latches of their shoes be broken

Whose arrows are sharp
And all their bows bent

Their horses' hoofs shall be counted like flint
And their wheels like a whirlwind

Their roaring shall be like a lion, they shall roar like young lions
Yes they shall roar and lay hold of the prey
And shall carry it away safe
And none shall deliver it

And in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea
And if one look unto the land behold darkness and sorrow
And the light is darkened in the heavens thereof

Rev 14:19-20 And the angel thrust in Hs sickle into the land (earth)
And gathered the vine of the earth
And cast it into the great wine press of the wrath of God

And the wine press was trodden without the city
And blood came out of the wine press
Even unto the horse bridles

By the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs
