Perhaps if churches talked about the governance (Kingdom) of God being the preferred allegiance instead of trying to fit God into the governance of man most seem interested in, they might make some headway. Ritual and tradition serves little purpose when it focuses on the me me me aspect of salvation rather than what it takes to be saved; His will before our own, a will that focuses on others. Jesus represented a counter-culture. Let's see if Christians have the nerve to follow suit.
