God sees the church as Jesus' bride

Willing to change her ways

Inviting Jesus Ghost inside

To guide these latter days


We cannot manage without Him

Lacking, we'll fail for sure

Feeble with age, eyes growing dim

We'll fail Salvation's Door


We'll miss Life's winning occasion

Christ Jesus walking by

Again to Satan's invasion

We'd never rise on high


But God, my God knows this too well

How bound fast souls to free

Proposed a way to flee from hell

Who will in time agree


That time has come, your day is now!

Don't fumble round and wait

Let wisdom cause you knees to bow

Pray Jesus, bar hell's gate


Take true Love's arm,. give Christ your hand

Let Heaven see you care

Engage all Salvation has planned

Through Jesus everywhere


Devil's will see, Satan will know

While Jesus' hand's in yours

Hell's whole army will let you go
