Too many times I tried to do things on my own and each time, I failed. Once I started letting God take the lead and trusting in Him, I realized that things go more smoothly. I still have my share of obstacles, storms and mountains to climb, but I get through them so much easier for the Lord is always with me.
All through the Bible, we read of how Christians were mocked and persecuted because of God's direction. It is still that way today. The world has lack of understanding, therefore when we do things according to God's will, it seems crazy in their minds.
I ask God, daily, to lead and guide me in His ways. No matter how crazy something may seem to others, I lean on Him. Even with my career, people have voiced what I should do, how and when.... because that's what makes sense to them. They haven't taken into consideration that I asked God to be my guide and help me to use my career to glorify Him.
Due to their lack of knowledge and understanding, they shot it down with persecution and automatically assumed that my career was doomed..... because it isn't their way. Because it doesn't make sense in their minds.
God's way never fails. I'm not as concerned about making millions of dollars as I am being a good light to millions of souls.
