Ever wonder it strange when scholars say that Jesus was born around 4-6 B.C.? My understanding is that BC means before Christ...so, the scholars seem to have an arithmetic and grammar problem for how can Christ be born 4-6 before his own coming? I thought when He arrived that is considered AD the year of our Lord?
As for BCE and CE they are nothing more than a way for unbelieving Jews to deny Jesus. And they serve as a tool for those who would deny God altogether.
Something else to chew on: how did anyone know how many years there were before Christ's coming unless there was some prophecy given concerning this?
