Once Upon A Time There Was A Perfect Kingdom

Once upon a time there was a kingdom, the majesty of which had no equal nor could it ever. Infinite was this kingdom in splendor forever to forever. All laws decreed by the sovereign King were perfect and immutable, and even though adherence was difficult at times, it greatly pleased the heart of the King when His subjects underwent hardship for the sake of keeping them, for this showed to the King a loving fidelity that could not be purchased in gold.

On the outskirts of this kingdom men did not always obey the law, and yet the King was merciful and long-suffering so much that He would overlook disobedience as some say, over 490 times within in a single moment.

One day, a poor lowly subject broke a perfect command and was caught red-handed. There was no escape as this subject had nothing redeeming about him whatsoever. The authorities under the King had decided to do away with him in finality, for great was his error against this perfect Kingdom.

Then, when the King heard what had transpired, He came to the subject and offered to take the punishment owed in his stead. Every member of the Kingdom stood, their mouths hanging agape in bewilderment, hearts broken. Not one soul had the capacity to imagine a display of divine grace of this magnitude before. That the sovereign King of ALL known creation would descend from a throne higher than cloud to meet a man. Just a man.

Truly no action so divine had ever occurred, nor again ever could there be one that would approach the grace of the action of this King.

That King is Jesus Christ, and this what He did for you.

God bless!
