Bah, another hater just posted another "scoop" (of what I shall not write) trying to dig up dirt on Mrs. Palin.
I looked over it quickly, to me it's just more confirmation that she really is a caring mother who loves her kids. She took her kids with her to many different events and functions she had to go to, for her job.
She could have left them out of things, but that shows she wanted them to be with her, to include them- either to keep spending time with her, or as a learning experiences. Either way, it's good mothering.
Reminds me of how my own mother was the opposite, I was "lucky" if I got 2 hours with her on the weekend (and it's not like she didn't have full custody of me or something).
We, and I when I'm by myself, have always taken the kids with us pretty much eveywhere. We have only left our child/kids somewhere only a few times in all these years- and even then it was only when they were a bit older. I didn't leave my kids in the nurseries at churches (sometimes the ushers got annyoed by that- oh well). Waited till they were older to put them in class- sometimes. Never left my baby with my mother either (once, when I was in the hospital having my second child). Even when I went/go around by myself without a car I took/take them with me. Now sometimes, if the need for it arises my middle child watches the youngest.
So I think that's another cool thing, that she dosent mind taking her kids with- and on "important business" at that. Shows even though she's busy & at the top, she can keep her priorites in line. What an example for women and mothers everywhere- wonder what my mom would have thought.
Hope she had her P's & Q's, and dotted all her i's, as well. It doesn't seem like a big deal, a blatent crazy unethical misuse of government whatever. It's just ike how I was writing. That if you are going to be a leader in the world or in church, you better have evything together, tight. Enemies whether human or spiritual (or sometimes spiritual working through human) will use anything and everything against you, that they can.
Spiritual & personal I'm pretty much "straight", on practial stuff like that...hmm well let's just say I'm working on that. I don't want the enemy to be able to have fuel to discredit God (God's name) using whatever. It's sinking in deeper, that even though they are lessor things they have importance, and certainly can be used against me, a ministry or & or the name of Christianity.
Like I wrote this letter & such the other day, if it came up and the enemy (which ever kind) wanted to fight back, I could just see someone trying to dig up dirt and say- oh that one, is that the one who's always late- like she's saying anything? As if the two are of equal importance morally...Still I get it now, I'm wising up to the game.
