Well I don't know what just happened when i tried to post this... but I guess I'll post it again....
I'm thinking congratulations, congratulations!
At first I was thinking it was about golf, and that makes me go (like they say these days) eeewww, because I could never stand golf! Always have joked, "it's for "old people" ", and they shouldn't even consider it a "sport". I have horrible memories from childhood of times on weekends during afternoons, with nobody to play with & nothing to do, and turing on the TV and fittingly only finding- golf. I mean I was already bored out of my mind. There it was dragging, and with announcers with voices to match. UG
Aannywaay, on the other had when I noticed it was made clear- not golf, then that was pretty cool.
I just had to "stop in" here and post something. I mean it's not like I've purposely disappeared or something like that.
Also interesting timing. The hubby has worked over there for 3 differenent jobs. And this last one just ended for the season last week. Small world...
On the one hand, I'm happy that means more time with the family, on the other it makes things tighter (less money).
Such is life for now.
Hmm I wonder if my brothers got grandma out of the morgue yet? Well I think it was J who said you can keep em' there for like 3 months?
You gotta laugh. I mean I wouldn't laugh if she were still alive (that would be scary!). But, I think she's "up there". She was a pretty strong Catholic, but she used to go to services that were held by Baptists, at the center. And, I talked to her about her faith and she seemed focused on Jesus (and not a "Marian, lol). She seemed like she had fruit, lived a decent life- the kind of life that could point to her being a Christian.
I'm pretty sure she would've talked to my mother, probably told her about my family. Wonder what my mother thinks about that...
