This comes from watching a prophet lady on YouTube talk about the ministry of Christ… where she spoke of him “being in the flesh” when he experienced genuine temptation. This phrase really bothers me to the point of believing it to be actual sacrilege. I know it was not intended that way, but it is pretty much always used to describe someone carried away by their fleshly passions in a sinful way, like being impatient in a rude way, gluttony from hunger, lust from seeing something erotic, or one’s hormones acting up etc. The western Latin world, well saint Augustine actually coined a word for this called “Concupiscence”.
