Kingdom
What is a Kingdom? It is country, state, or territory ruled by a king or queen -- online dictionary. Two words that come to the fore are King and Domain. No king is a king without a domain or territory. Even Lucifer has one according to Matt 4:8. satan (i always use small caps for him) showed Jesus the kingdoms of the world and said He would give them to Jesus if Jesus worshiped him. Jesus did not accept to be cheated by this early gratification trick because he knew He was going to be an heir of those things (Rev 11:15). Here scripture says ...the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord and his Christ...
I stay in the United Kingdom - a domain ruled by the queen of England. Such rulers are not elected or voted by their people. They are the ones who annex / elect their subjects. Originally I come from Zimbabwe and it is a colony of England. Even though I did not know much about the queen but most things I did were patterned after England. My English accent for starters, most English people think I grew up in England. We drive on the left side and use the same road rules. I did not have to go for a driving test either. Those are just few things of many. If you are not a Christian, or maybe you are an atheist and you make fun of Jesus and use His name in profanities and cussing, it is not your fault. Jesus has just not yet taken over your territory. When He does, He will inspire your respect. You will bow down when you address him (Rom 14:11 and Phil 2:10). You will know him then.
Kings do not resign. They rule over their lifetimes. God is eternal and will rule forever. His word / decree is not up for debate but it is forever established in the heavens. His kingdom is not a democracy. If he decrees that the man who lusts sexually after other men is committing sin, that will stand regardless how many do not agree. In a democracy people would put that to a vote. God seeks to create a theocracy on earth by exertion of heavenly influence through his delegates.
This is why Jesus says you are the salt of the earth. The earth will be under our seasoning power and the world will be charged by our conduct. "Thy Kingdom come on this earth as it is in heaven". God seeks to establish his influence by annexing the world as his subjects. He is the King of kings. We have been made priests and kings unto God (Rev 5:10). So we have our own little domains within his domain. We can decree and declare. Finally He will return in His glory and judge those who did not subjugate themselves to his authority broadcasted by the earthly delegates.
Why don't you receive him now before he comes in his judgement hat. Right now mercy is available. Just say this prayer: LORD JESUS I RECEIVE YOU AS MY PERSONAL
SAVIOR. FORGIVE ME OF MY SINS AND MAKE ME CLEAN. FILL ME WITH YOUR SPIRIT SO I MAY LIVE FOR YOU. I COMMIT MY LIFE INTO YOUR CAPABLE HANDS MY GOD AND MY KING. RECEIVE ME INTO YOUR KINGDOM IN JESUS NAME I PRAY. AMEN
Go and sin no more. Live for Christ and always look forward. If you are already a christian continue living for Him.
