At times like these we as Christians need to come together for the common good but the enemy has us spending all our time bickering. If we cannot get along with each other, then how can we get along with non-believers? I am so tired of this black and white or rich and poor crap. God is the creator of us all and died for us all so get over it. It should not matter how much money you make or if you are in the right group of people. Christ died for all of us, not just the rich or certain races.
If we as Christians would read our Bible, pray every day ,and pray more than once a day and let the spirit guide us, then maybe would not be in such a predicament. I know without a doubt that if we as a people would humble ourselves, fall to our knees, and pray then God will hear us and heal our land. America is falling fast and no matter what side you are one you have to see that.
I know that I am not perfect and I would never try to be. We need to stop judging others and start loving them if we want to reach them at all. I do not mean letting others walk all over you but firmly letting them know how you feel and then let it go and leave it up to God. It is not our job to hit people over the head with the Bible, but it is our job to show them by example that Christ is the answer. I just do not get how anyone really thinks that will work.
Therefore, what if I live a different life then you. Do not judge me for my past that is not who I am any longer and I have changed. I am so much happier this way anyway. I have my daughter that is the most important thing. Maybe if you spent as much time fixing your own life as you, do judging mine then maybe you really would be better than me.
I know I know we do not agree on everything but who said we should all the time. However, we need to agree on the core issues and if cannot even do that now a days how can we expect to reach non-believers? We have to learn to get along and get back to the basics. Down to the core beliefs is where we need to go. We need to come together and work together. We are a family and if we are bickering then how can we let others in to this mess we have made of the Church. No one person is to blame, we all share in it, so let stop the blame game and decide to be better at getting along. We need to work together for the common good of reaching the non-believers. I know it might seem hard but if we all read our Bibles and pray then we will see where we as a Church need to go.
If we make the change in our personal life and enough people do it then we can change the world. We can do this. I have faith do you?
