There are those who speak of truth but often the purpose is to promote their own truth and not God's. Jesus continually said, "I tell you the truth" in His Gospel of the Kingdom and in His teachings of how to live in the ways of the Kingdom. Teachings about living amongst the mankind who still live by traditional self justification for all self serving deeds, good and bad.
How many actually promote or focus on those teachings of Jesus? The servitude, the selflessness, the shunning of the ways of the world that are disdainful to God? How many by comparison still promote and defend the ideals and ways of mankind in their daily lives?
Does their truth mirror Jesus' truth or is their truth a worldly one traditionally used by worldly institutions, often using Jesus to promote it?
Jesus taught us we have choice. That we can see the world through the eyes of the world or that we can change, repent, be reborn to see the world through the eyes of the Kingdom. To act accordingly and for the most part in opposition to what man holds dear.
When someone speaks of truth, through which set of eyes do they speak?
