Last weekend I went camping with my husband. We left Thursday night and stayed until Saturday afternoon. There were many ups and downs, but all in all I had a pretty good time.
I didn't get to spend a whole lot of time with just Tonie and I but that is all right. I had fun and it will deffinatly be something Ill never forget.
I got up at 3am Friday morning and waited for the sun to come up after a long cold night in the car (tent flooded). It seemed like it took forever and a day for the morning to come. The fire was soaked and all of our wood. I ran out of paper so I went to go find moss (whitches hair) I stacked the wood two parallel to eachother on the bottom and two on to the opposite direction so it sort of formed a hollow square. There was a little smoke comming from a drenched chunch of wood so I put the moss on that and waited nothing. I was freezing and I just said "Jesus, please send a wind or something to start this fire" and then came this aweful cold cust of wind and walah the fire began to blaze. Jesus is so good. I just laughed and thanked him. Tonies brother and sister in law joined us for Friday night and we left together Sunday. We go to fish and play in fire and what not.
Sunday was our actual anniversary and the day I got baptized. It was soooooo cold. I was terrified because I'm afraid of fish and we did it in the river where there are not only fish but people whom periodacly drown. I just kept telling myslef that God aint giong to let me die in the middle of being baptized. So I sucked it up and went pretty cool
Well this last week has been rather chilly. I think the snow is going to come early so I'm trying to prepare my house and get it weather proofed so our bill won't be so high. Please pray that the snow holds off till I get this accomplished. Thanks
