I read Job Chapter 23 today. The chapter showed Job's pain and him asking the Lord to save him and help him. One verse that stood out to me was verse 16 which said, " For God maketh my heart soft, and that Almighty troubleth me." I think it is beautiful that Job said that God made Job's heart soft. I also pray that the Lord makes my heart soft. I prayed to the Lord asking Him that he would give me a tender heart to the things that hurt him. I prayed that the Lord would soften my heart and give me a heart like Him. The Lord said He would do that for me and it touched me.
