Jeremiah 4 -- What To Do If You Are Left Behind

1 “If you, Israel, will return, then return to me,” declares the Lord. “If you put your detestable idols out of my sight and no longer go astray, Many want to know what they should be doing to prepare to meet God. First, get rid of the detestable idols. I discussed this a little when I talked about the frogs in Exodus 8. Also, know that money is a “graven image”. It is made out of wood (paper money) and it is a molten image (coins). 2 and if in a truthful, just and righteous way you swear, ‘As surely as the Lord lives,’ then the nations will invoke blessings by him and in him they will boast.” Walk according to the truth (word of God), in a just and righteous way (the Lord’s commandment to do unto others as you would have them do unto you). Boast in the Lord, rejoice in Him, praise Him, testify of His goodness.
