I hate this stuff. I really feel like this wave about rascism is really going to pull at people. It's not even that most of it seems to bringing any real dialog- but just the opposite.
So I just watched some video attached to a news article I was reading. It was showing some brown shirt protesters saying some outrageous stupid stuff over a megaphone. She was shouting at tea party people to go back to Europe, go back to Germany, natzis stuff like that...
Totally wrong.
The Tea Party movement is basically anti-tax & spend, and for less (a lot less) government control- those are the main issues.
I'm not big into it because our main issues are pro-family values/life ones. I generally support those thoughts but they're not the #1 priorities.
Anywaaay. I think people should stick to logical points of arguments. So these people are trying to bring one of our own states-AZ down. and they're saying ridiculous things that they shouldn't- and they're making themselves look foolish.
Ah but then why why can't people stay self-controlled (even though they have the right to be offended) and respond in reasonable ways, with discussion that proves the true points... instead the get carried away and let people pull the worst out of the human nature. I know that when upset people can respond quickly in stupid ways that they may not exactly or totally mean.
I also think though in writing comments it is easier to control what you say and not let negative emotions guide what one writes.
So I see a ton of people responding to rascism against white- they're doing no better and in fact by returning in kind' they just confirm what the other side critizises them over.
Instead of writing a factual arguments they were writing crazy (& racist) things. Like in the video saying things like "go wash someones dishes"... sorry but that is pretty low. That person may then claim they aren't racist but now they don't have credibility to say that.
The whole thing is just sad and wrong.
God I really hope this stuff doesn't build and become circular.
I mean if people keep pushing and pushing, they can provoke things out of people that those same people might not say normally.
I mean how would most white people feel if say they were like downtown by some fest (ha I can just imagine the setup, almost been in the middle of something like that).
If that group of Black Pathers were shouting by where people were walking by, that included white people.
Wow just picture it...
I guess if it was a mixed group or whites were not the majority they would probably feel scared or at least intimidated.
If it were all white (aside from the Panthers) or mostly white they would probably feel confident in the group maybe amused by the shouting....
So there the Pathers would be talking their garbage about "the white hoes, and you got to get rid of the crakckers and kill their babies"...
I'm sure where they were doing that routine it was all just black folk around.
If it were the other way (such as my scenerio) and they dared to say that- you know even reasonable white people would be grumbling. All it would take would to be one big biker type to respond in a loud obnoxious way, or some group of overconfident frat guys, of just a pair of young anti-social types who really don't care but aren't afraid either. Or some girl who tells her boyfriend- they're calling me a hoe...
I could just see something like that at a fest... it could turn real ugly real quick.
My money would be on that the majority of hispanics would side w/ the blacks and the asians w/ the whites (but they probably wouldn't fight aside w/ them though).
Tell me, I dare someone to honestly tell me that even as a white liberal.. you could go past a group like that shouting hate-that you would feel nothing, nothing but love and tolerance though they were calling your mother a hoe & wanting to kill your children?!
Don't tell me that no thoughts or words would rise up, and if one were in a "safe" group for protection one wouldn't be temped to say those things- even under your breath.
Hypocracy, hypocracy. Yet they have the audacity (to quote Mr. rascism himself Jer. Wright- where Obama got the title for his book) to go on tv and look all phony unreal peace & love,and totally ignore the rascism of the Black Panthers & NAACP.
They want to make it seem that liberal white people are less rascist- ha!
Many just put on a nice show, to look like they are siding with minorities- because they know they need the minority vote!
But truth is most just look down on them, they want their vote so they can control them & their thinking. These elite think most masses ( & esp. minorities) can't and shouldn't have the right to make descisions nor have any leadership control.
Most conservative (many of who are white) believe the opposite, they believe in the work ethic- that be can and should be able to work their way up, can be taught to make responsible choices for themselves...
this instead of being kept down, become stuck on handouts and the government control that comes with that.
Ha, that would be a funny reality moment- lets stick Chris Matthews or someone like him (undercover) in the middle of one of Black Panther ralleys in some black neighborhood and he'd quickly be wishing he were at a tea party rally! I wish there was a microphone that would be able to capture the real thoughts that would go through his mind at that moment.
