I have some news that I just have to tell someone.
I am so excited that I can't sleep. It's about two o'clock in the morning on a Sunday morning that I am supposed to perform the special music for church in the morning.
I was having trouble with the whole idea of singing this time because I have a hard time singing praise and worship songs when I'm not sure that I have much to praise and worship about.
I have been praying for more than two months to God to have him help me find a new and better job. The one that I am at, I am not happy with because the other person that I work with seems to think that when I'm in the building, he doesn't have to work (let alone some other problems that I will not list on here). The wages don't even pay my bills. We have been taking out of savings every month for the last four months to make ends meet.
But the gracious God we have has come through again. I was just asked and given the opportunity (in the last hour of work tonight) to move to another department in the Wal-Mart store that I have been working at. The job pays more money, has better hours and if all goes right I will be getting one weekend off per month, which is wonderful considering I have worked every weekend for the last five months.
I can't tell you in words how happy I am!!!
I know that even with the lack of sleep tonight, I will have no problem praising and worshiping my God in the morning.
For those that think that prayer doesn't work, I would beg to differ.
