Have You Read The Word Today?

Are you having a bad day? Are things going wrong? Are you ill, or anxious (worried) about something? Are you just not enthusiastically joyful about the day and what is going on in your life? Are you not "joyful in the Lord"? But you are at least on this site, reading this blog. All hope is not lost. But what might be missing? Would God have you hear the words of Proverbs 4:20-21? Is it that you need to spend time reading more of His Word today, meditating on it, letting God speak to you and lift your spirits? "My son (daughter), attend to my words (read and apply what the Bible says); incline thine ear unto my sayings (pay close attention to obeying God's Word). Let them not depart from thine eyes (think upon them through the day); keep them in the midst of thine heart (love God's Word for so many wonderful reasons). For they are life (what have you if you don't have life....separation from God) unto those that find them, and health (what have you if you don't have health) to all their flesh." "O how love I thy law (God's Word)! it is my meditation all the day." Psalms 119:97
