There is a piece of scripture that I have always had a hard time understanding, or should I say putting into action:
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Philippians 4:13

God has been teaching me how to apply this to my life. I kept asking, "what am I doing so wrong that I do not always recieve your strength?"
I know God has the power to make us victorious in all our struggles, I know from personal experiance with the Lord, that his grace is sufficient enough for me, to strengthen me through my hardships.
But it wasnt always there because of my lack of faith in scriptures.
God loves to strengthen us, He loves to help us, His children through all our problems.
But the question we need to ask ourselves is, do I believe in it?
Do you believe what Phil. 4:13 says?
God wants you to ask for it, and not just sit and wait for it. He wants us to arise in faith, knowing that we will recieve it. That is what God has showed me personally.
I think one of the harder parts is me denying myself and asking Him to strengthen me. Do you have that problem??
Faith is more than just believing and acknowledging something. We need to put Faith into action. I don't know about alot of others out there, but I need the strength of God flowing through me on a day to day basis.
If you are having trouble recieving the strength of God, kneel and ask Him to give you strength, than put it into action by arising and believing in your heart that the strength of God will flow through you.
also make sure that your motives are not amiss either..
