fruit of the Spirit

Yesterday I was looking at the fruit of the Spirit and mentioned that I felt like I was going backwards in my walk with the Lord. I felt like I was much stronger in the past. So, this morning the pastor starts a new sermon series about the fruit of the Spirit. He talked about how there is a constant battle going on in each believer. He talked about how the fruit of the Spirit is something that the Spirit bears in each of us and not something we do by our own efforts. Exactly what I needed to hear.
