Some people have been members of this website for years longer than I have, heck I have only been a member for a month or so, but many issue’s arise with surfing around. I noticed that some people are extremely upset that they are soon to be stripped from the right of debating certain topics. I’m not saying that channeling your thoughts through questions and factual statements is a bad thing at all. I am saying that today we have this great technology at our fingertips which allows for us to be able to reach out across the ocean to others from our living room or workstation. With this changing day many different temptations and distractions will follow. So next time a man or woman; girl or boy have a genuine question about a misunderstanding point or a confusing topic then instead of getting side tracked with the many different religious views, just simply state what it is you believe and allow for them to decide and pray on what the best answer for their situation would be. People say you should take it to a side bar forum or contact them personally to debate a Pentecostal view vs. a Lutheran so on and so forth. You are missing the point to the out reach of the member. All in all we are from many different faiths but as am I this is a dominant Christian forum. We are accountable for each other in teaching and learning and fellowship but as far as the interpretation goes its best left to the question instead of the answer. By this I mean allow for them to decide and you to become a portal of information, I admit I’m not the most educated on many topics dealing with religion. So when I have question’s I am more susceptible to the one who offer’s advice instead of the one who argues which version of the bible is better understood. In every translation they all bring the same point, Love God and Love people. Live the purpose driven life and chase after God’s heart, we are all selfish creatures, but that we cannot change, so allow us to channel it through love and fellowship not debate.
