"can A Christian Be Too Biblical?" (video Blog)

A little video bringing up a topic that a Systematic Theology professor mentioned in his class, that there are some conservative Christians who are so strong in their Biblical orientation and literalism that they would have people in obviously dysfunctional and dangerous marriages married to sociopaths, malignant narcists etc. that they would rather have such people follow the letter of the law according to what Jesus said in the Gospels rather than see this as an issue to follow "the spirit of the law".

I relate this topic to another issue of sometimes over emphasizing the Divinity of Christ to the point of almost negating him being "true human" as a phenomena that often happens due to sparing with Christian liberals who want to advance Biblical Higher Criticism with movements like "The Jesus Seminar".

And also mention that whole issue of phronema (mindset) is often as important to applying scripture than some of the textual details (which may or not fit the situation at hand)
