1 Corinthians 9:22 Though he was a member of the ruling elite Jewish sect that murdered Jesus and continued to murder Christians, Saul eventually received salvation and was renamed Apostle Paul. After a period of training by Christ, he was then sent to take the Gospel of Christ to the Gentiles. God gave Paul the ability to express to diverse groups of people how the Gospel of Christ was relevant to each of them no matter their cultural or societal differences. Today's churches have been losing ground because in trying to be relevant, they are adopting the practices of sinners rather than teaching them how Christ's teaching is relevant to them.
